SIR GEORGE LEWISreplied, that a Committee was sitting on the subject, and they were obtaining full information as to the expense of the Armstrong and other guns. Under these circumstances, he had not thought it necessary to make any specific return to the hon. Gentleman's Motion, as he felt the Report of the Committee would furnish all the information required by his hon. Friend.
