HC Deb 21 February 1862 vol 165 cc546-7
MR. HUME

said, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Homo Department, Whether he has it in contemplation to introduce a Bill this Session to amend the Law regulating the traffic of Cabs and Public Carriages through the Streets of the Metropolis; and, if so, when it may be expected to be laid upon the table of the House?

SIR GEORGE GREY

said, that he had no intention of proposing any alteration in the Law to which the hon. Member had adverted, no representation having been made to him which, in his view, seemed to necessitate a change.
