said, he would take that oppor- tunity of correcting an error into which he fell on the previous day when speaking of the establishment of Postal communication between San Francisco and British Columbia. He then stated that the charge for the service for six months was to be £10,000, or at the rate of £20,000 per annum. What he ought to have said was, that the contract for six months was for £5,000 therefore only £10,000 per annum.
