THE ATTORNEY GENERALsaid, that instructions had been given to Mr. Stephens to collect the various statistics on the subject, with a view to framing a Consolidation Bill.
§ MR. HADFIELDsaid, he wished to inquire at what time it is likely the Bill will be introduced?
THE ATTORNEY GENERALsaid, there was no prospect of its being ready to bring before the House during the present Session.
