§ MR. POLLARD-URQUHARTsaid, he would beg to ask the Chief Secretary for Ireland, Whether he means to proceed with the Committee on the Poor Relief (Ireland) Bill before the Easter Recess; and whether he means to proceed with the other Irish measures before the Easter Recess?
§ SIR ROBERT PEELsaid, he much regretted that he had not been able to make greater progress with the measure. It would, he feared, be impossible to proceed with it in Committee before Easter, but he should lose no opportunity of pressing it forward.
