§ SIR STAFFORD NORTHCOTEsaid, he rose to ask the Secretary of State for India, Whether he has received a Memorial from Surgeon Major Hochin, of the Bombay Presidency, complaining of the discrepancy in the date of the two Royal 1642 Warrants for the Royal and the Indian branches of the Medical Service respectively, whereby two Surgeon Majors of the Royal Army, Messrs. Inglis and Fraser, have been placed above twenty Medical Officers on the Bombay Establishment of much older standing in the Service than themselves: and whether he proposes to take steps for rectifying this inadvertence?
