CHICHESTER FORTESCUEstated that information had been received at the Colonial Office of disturbances having taken place at Newfoundland, in consequence of excessive party feeling during the last elections. The occurrences were now under investigation, and when a Report on the subject arrived, he would lay it on the Table.
