CRAUFURDsaid, he had to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs a question of considerable importance in reference to a statement which he had seen in an Italian Paper, and which bore in a particular manner on the present state of Italian affairs. He had just seen a statement to the effect that his Majesty the King of Italy had left Turin and repaired to the town of Tulos, near St. Jean de Maurienne, which was within the French frontier, in consequence of an urgent despatch from Paris, and that it was supposed it was for the purpose of meeting his Majesty the Emperor of the French there. He wished to know if the noble Lord had any knowledge of the matter?
