§ MR. MURRAYsaid, he wished to ask Mr. Attorney General, Whether it is the intention of the Government to introduce this Session the Bill brought from the House of Lords last Session for the Incorporation, Regulation, and Winding-up of Trading Companies and other Associations; and, if so, whether he does not consider it will be advantageous to the House to discuss such Bill in connection with the Bill for Amending the Law of Bankruptcy and Insolvency?
THE ATTORNEY GENERALsaid, he regretted very much that the Bill alluded to by the hon. Member had not been laid on the Table of the House. The measure was one which had been prepared the year before last under the direction of the Board of Trade, which naturally claimed a special property in the Bill. His right hon. Friend the President of that department was very unwilling to trust the result of so much labour out of his hands, but be had no doubt that he would very shortly bring it forward, and would recommend it to the House with that ability for which he was distinguished.
