§ MR. STIRLINGsaid, he wished to ask the Lord Advocate, If he proposes to introduce in the present Session any Bill for the relief of the parochial schoolmasters of Scotland, whose salaries have been diminished by the expiry of the late Act?
THE LORD ADVOCATEsaid, that he should have to submit to the Government a proposal upon the subject, but he could not state specifically whether a Bill would be introduced with respect to it this Session.
