§ SIR MICHAEL SEYMOURsaid, he would beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty, Whether he has received a memorial from the Warrant Officers of the Devonport Division, seeking an improvement in their position as officers in the Royal Navy, and whether their case has been taken into consideration by the Admiralty Board.
§ LORD CLARENCE PAGETstated, in reply, that a memorial had been received by the Admiralty from the Warrant Officers of the Devonport Division, seeking an improvement in their position as officers of the Royal Navy. He regretted to say that many of their demands were such as could not be complied with, but there were some of them which appeared to the Board to deserve serious consideration.
