§ MR. WALPOLEsaid, he would beg leave to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether he proposed to bring in any Bill or Bills for amending the laws relating to lunatics, pursuant to the Report or recommendations of the Select Committee made to the House last Session?
SIR GEORGE LEWISsaid, a Bill on the subject to which the right hon. Gentleman referred was in preparation, and he hoped to be able to give notice of it upon an early day. He would take that opportunity of stating that he believed the Lord Chancellor intended to introduce a Bill in 327 the other House of Parliament relating to Chancery lunatics. That would be a separate measure.
§ House adjourned at Ten o'clock.
