HENNESSYsaid, he rose to ask the junior Lord of the Admiralty, Whether it is true that the iron-cased ship Defence is being built under the superintendence of Mr. Lewcock, the Admiralty Inspector, who on the 4th March last reported to the Admiralty that the steamer Hibernia was "in every respect fit to be employed for the conveyance of the Mails between Gal-way and the United States, in accordance with the Contract with the Atlantic Royal Mail Steam Navigation Company."
