SIR HUGH CAIRNS

said, he would beg to ask, Whether it is the intention of Her Majesty's Government to introduce a Bill on the subject of Fairs and Markets in Ireland during the present Session?

MR. CARDWELL

said, he had prepared a Bill, which he was prevented by the state of public business from introducing. If an opportunity should arise of carrying it through in the present Session, he should be glad to introduce it.
