said, he would beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade, Whether it is intended to renew the Act of 1858, restraining Canal Companies, being also Railway Companies, from leasing Canals.

MR. MILNER GIBSON

said, it was the intention of the Government to bring in a Bill for the renewal of this Act.
