Message from the Lords, That they do agree to a Conference with this House, as requested by Message of this day upon the subject matter of the Address of this House to be presented to Her Majesty, relative to the Treaty of Commerce concluded between Her Majesty and the Emperor of the French; and appoint the same to be held presently in the Painted Chamber.

Ordered, That a Committee be appointed to manage the Conference:—And a Committee was appointed, of Mr. BYNG, Mr. BAINES, Viscount PALMERSTON, Lord JOHN RUSSELL, Mr. CHANCELLOR of the EXCHEQUER, Sir GEORGE LEWIS, Mr. Secretary SIDNEY HERBERT, Sir CHARLES WOOD, Sir GEORGE GREY, Mr. MILNER GIBSON. Mr. CARDWELL, Mr. VILLIERS, Mr. ATTORNEY GENERAL, Mr. ATTORNEY GENERAL for Ireland, and the LORD ADVOCATE. Then the names of the Managers were called over, and they went to the Conference:—And having returned:

reported, That the Managers had been at the Conference, which was managed on the part of the Lords by the Lord Privy Seal; and that they had delivered to their Lordships the Address agreed upon by this House, to which they desired the concurrence of their Lordships; and that they had left the said Address with their Lordships.
