§ LORD CLARENCE PAGETsaid, the delay had arisen in consequence of claims having been put forward by his hon. and gallant Friend subsequent to the original Return of the numbers engaged having been sent in. The claims so put forward had been admitted by the Admiralty, but they had necessitated an arrangement as to the respective proportions claimed by the Army and Navy.
