HC Deb 06 July 1860 vol 159 c1527
MR. CRAWFORD

said, he wished to inquire, Whether his noble Friend at the head of the Government can give any assurance that the Bankruptcy Bill will be proceeded with this Session?

VISCOUNT PALMERSTON

I conceive that Bill to be one of very much importance; and certainly I will endeavour to persuade the House to pass it this Session, however long it may require the House to sit for that purpose.
