HC Deb 17 February 1860 vol 156 c1227
MR. LONG

said, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if any special information on the State of Hungary has recently been received by the Government; and if so, whether there is any objection to that information being communicated to the House.

LORD JOHN RUSSELL

said, that a great deal of information had been received from our Minister at Vienna with respect to the state of Hungary, but, as it referred to the internal government of another country, he considered that it would not be convenient to lay it before Parliament.
