MR. BUTLER

said, he rose to move for a copy of all correspondence that had taken place between the Rev. Bryan King, the vestry of St. George's-in-the-East, and the Bishop of London, relative to the disturbances in the parish church.

SIR GEORGE GREY

said, that unless the correspondence was in possession of a Government department, the House had no power to order its production.

Mr. BUTLER

said, that both the Bishop of London and the Home Office had agreed to the return being made.

Motion agreed to.
