§ MR. KEKEWICHsaid, he wished to ask the President of the Poor Law Board, Whether it is his intention to move for the reappointment of the Select Committee on the Irremovable Poor, with the view of proposing an alteration in the laws of settlement and removal during the present Session?
§ MR. VILLIERSsaid, that in consequence of the abrupt manner in which the proceedings of the Committee had terminated, and the incomplete state of the inquiry, he intended to propose the reappointment of the Committee with a view of coming to a conclusion on the subject, and ascertaining what further legislation was necessary.
