§ MR. DUNNsaid, he rose to ask the Secretery to the Admiralty whether, in the contemplated scheme of Naval Retirement, time served in a Revenue Cruiser for the suppression of Smuggling, and therefore in Her Majesty's Service, is to be counted as sea time.
§ LORD CLARENCE PAGETsaid, that sea time would be allowed for time served in a Revenue Cruiser for the suppression of smuggling, and at the same time he would beg to call the attention of Officers to Her Majesty's Order in Council on the subject in the Gazette of that day.
