said, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether Government have received any information that the inhabitants of Melazzo resisted the attack of the Revolutionary Troops, and that Garibaldi, having taken possession, punished with death thirty-nine of the inhabitants for having fought against him, and in defence of the rights of their Sovereign?

was understood to state that the Government had received no information such as that referred to by the hon. and learned Gentleman.
