§ MR. LAINGsaid, he was informed that the non-issue of the new bronze coinage was owing to the delay in completing the dies. The penny die, however, was now ready; the halfpenny die would not be ready for another three weeks; and he anticipated that in about two months from the present time this coinage would be issued.
