HC Deb 25 March 1859 vol 153 c813
MR. DARBY GRIFFITH

said, he wished to ask the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether it is the intention of the Government to equalize the percentage fees upon the sale of property in the Transfer of Land Courts in Ireland, to the amount payable on value under £10,000?

LORD NAAS

said, the question was under the consideration of the Treasury, with a view, if possible, to provide for an equalization of the fees. He could not say that any decision had yet been arrived at. When it was he would communicate it to the House.
