§ Order for Third Reading read.
§ MR. ALDERMAN CUBITTsaid, that the Commissioners of Sewers for the City of London, in opposing this Bill in former stages, had been actuated solely by what they believed to be a public duty, but he was authorized by them to say, although they were not satisfied with the result, that they did not feel called upon to offer any further opposition.
§ COLONEL FRENCHobserved, that he thought the decision of the House on the previous occasion, not to send the Bill to another Committee, would increase the discontent that prevailed in respect of the contradictory decisions arrived at by Committees of that House.
§ Bill read 3° and passed.
