§ MR. BOVILLexpressed a strong opinion that the Assistant Judge should not be allowed to practise as a barrister. He thought that Parliament ought to have determined the matter itself, instead of leaving it to the Middlesex magistrates. By so doing the object of the Bill might at any time be defeated.
