§ CAPTAIN GRAYsaid, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State for War what progress has been made in its inquiry by the Militia Commission appointed on the 9th of July, 1858; and whether a Report may be expected from it during the present Session of Parliament?
§ MR. SIDNEY HERBERTsaid, the Commissioners had sent in their Report, and the Government was anxious to have an opportunity of deciding to what extent they could adopt their recommendations. He hoped to be able to state in a few days what decision had been come to on the question.
