§ MR. HADFIELDsaid, he would beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he intends to propose measures this Session for the reduction of the Duty on Fire Insurances, and for the revision and amendment of the Stamp Acts and the Duties payable under the same.
§ THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUERsaid, he hoped the hon. Member would permit him to postpone answering his questions until the time when it would become his (the Chancellor of the Exchequer's) duty to make the annual fianncial statement.
