HC Deb 11 February 1859 vol 152 c250
MR. BENTINCK

said, he rose to ask the President of the Board of Trade, Whether it is the intention of Her Majesty's Government to introduce any measure during the present Session, founded on the Report of the Select Committee on Railway Accidents?

MR. HENLEY

said, there was no doubt a geat deal in that report well worthy of consideration, but the Government had not thought it desirable to introduce any measure solely on that report. If any legislation concerning railways should take place it would then be their duty to consider whether those valuable suggestions could not be embodied in the measure.
