§ THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUERsaid, that several applications had been made to the Treasury for a subsidy for the purpose referred to; but, as no Resolution had been come to of the kind mentioned by the hon. Gentleman, it was not in his power to answer the question.
