§ MR. HANKEYsaid, he wished to ask the President of the Poor Law Board if his attention has been directed to the Address of the Inspector of Metropolitan Workhouses to the Directors of the Poor of St. Marylebone, delivered on the 11th of July, 1857, to which no reply appears to have been given.
§ MR. C. P. VILLIERSsaid, in reply, that his attention had been directed to the Address, and that no reply had been made to it. The facts of the statement, however, had not been denied by the Directors of the Poor of Marylebone, and he understood that great improvements had since taken place in the ventilation and area of the workhouse.
