§ MR. SOTHERON ESTCOURTsaid, he perceived that the hon. and gallant Member for Aberdeen had a Notice on the Paper of a Motion for the production of certain Papers connected with the Commission 1861 in reference to the union of the two Universities and Colleges of Aberdeen; he would beg to ask the hon. and gallant Member to refrain from making that Motion in the absence of the Lord Advocate. In the meantime he undertook that no net should be done founded on the Report of the Commissioners, until the new Parliament met. COLONEL SYKES said, that under the circumstances, and in consequence of the pledge now given by the right hon. Gentleman, he should acquesce in the request made to him.
