§ Order for Committee read.
LORD NAASsaid, that in moving that the House should go into Committee on this Bill, he wished to express the hope that, as no notice had been given of any Amendment upon it, and no objection had been yet taken to its provisions, he should be able 1399 to pass it through the House before the termination of the Session. If, however, there were any objection to proceeding further, he would not persist in his Motion.
§ CAPTAIN D. O'CONNELLsaid, the Bill was a very long one, and he thought it would be impossible to discuss it satisfactorily at this period of the Session.
§ MR. BEAMISHsaid, he was of a similar opinion.
§ Order discharged.
§ Bill withdrawn.
