§ MR. BLACKsaid, he would beg to inquire of the Secretary of State for War if there be any objection to afford the public of Edinburgh an opportunity of seeing the Plans of the extensive Works now constructing on the rock on which the Castle of Edinburgh is built?
GENERAL PEELsaid, directions had been given to the engineer employed on the Works at the Castle of Edinburgh to put himself in communication with the Lord Provost, with the view of giving the inhabitants of Edinburgh an apportunity of seeing the Plans of those Works.
