said, he wished to know if there was any objection to lay on the table of the House a copy of the Document issued by the War Office in October, 1857, as to the refusal of the Commander in Chief respecting regimental bands?

said, he had no objection to lay upon the table a copy of the War Office letter of the 12th of October, 1857, declining to sanction the recommendation of the General Commanding in Chief on the subject of regimental bands.
