HC Deb 26 March 1858 vol 149 c813
MR. MACKINNON

said, he would beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade, what is intended to be done on the question of Passing Tolls and Local Dues on Shipping?

MR. HENLEY

Sir, the only answer I can give the hon. Gentleman is, that the Government have no intention, during the present Session, of introducing a Bill affecting the much-vexed question of Passing Tolls and Local Dues on Shipping.
