MACARTNEYsaid, he wished to ask the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether, in the event of the Fairs and Markets (Ireland) Bill and the Grand Jury (Ireland) Bill, now on the table of the House, being-withdrawn, he will be prepared to introduce a Bill or Bills upon the same subjects after the Easter recess?
LORD NAASsaid, it was his intention to postpone the Bills alluded to by the hon. Gentleman until after Easter, and he would then state what course the Government intended to take with regard to them.
