MR. SERJEANT DEASYsaid, he had given notice of his intention to call the attention of the House to the subject of the provision now made for the religious wants of Roman Catholic soldiers, but after the statement of the gallant General at the head of the War Department, he should not press his Motion, believing that the manner in which the subject had been dealt with was most creditable to the Government.
