§ MR. BRADYsaid, he would beg to ask the Secretary of State if the scale of remuneration for the payment of the witnesses summoned on behalf of the Crown at the trial of the Royal British Bank Directors had been arranged; if so, when may the witnesses expect payment?
§ MR. HARDYsaid, a scale had been settled on the same rule as was adopted in civil cases and arrangements were in progress for a speedy payment.
