§ LORD ADOLPHUS VANE-TEMPESTsaid, he wished to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he has any objection to state at what period any decorations or promotions intended to be bestowed by Her Majesty on such officers who have been recommended by the General Commanding in India will be made public?
GENERAL PEELsaid, that the names of those officers who had been recommended for distinction would appear in that night's Gazette, and the honours would be conferred as soon as the Warrants were issued.
