HC Deb 12 July 1858 vol 151 c1285
SIR DE LACY EVANS

said, he wished to ask the Secretary of State for War whether there is any objection to lay on the table of the House a Copy of any Report which may have been made by the Superintendent of the Carriage Department or other authority at Woolwich, of the result of the late trial of Bray's improved Traction Engine, as applicable to the conveyance of heavy siege artillery?

GENERAL PEEL

said, that a Report had been made on the comparative merits of Boydell's and Bray's Engines, and he should have no objection to lay it on the Table if it were moved for.
