said, he would now Leg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether it is the intention of the Government to take any steps for enlarging the powers of the Charity Commissioners, with a view to simplifying the proceedings between them and the Court of Chancery?

Sir, the Government has not at present come to the opinion that it is advisable to bring in a measure in reference to this subject.
