HUMEsaid, he; wished to ask the Secretary of State for Ireland, Whether he means to introduce a Bill this Session; and if so, how soon; for the better regulation of the weights and measures of Ireland? also, whether he means to introduce a Bill for the amendment of the Grand Jury Laws of that country?
§ MR. HENRY HERBERTsaid, he had already given notice of his intention to move for leave to bring in a Bill to regulate the fairs and markets in Ireland; and that measure would, to a certain extent, establish a uniformity of weights and measures. He had also prepared a Bill on the subject of the Grand Jury Laws, but he could not say when the business of the House would enable him to introduce it,
