HC Deb 30 April 1858 vol 149 c2015
MR. PALK

said, he wished to ask the President of the Board of Health, if it is his intention to proceed with the Local Government Bill?

MR. ADDERLEY

said, that seeing there was no opposition to the principle of the Bill, be hoped that the House would not object to read it a second time. In order to give an opportunity for considering details—concerning which only opposition, and that hut slight, existed—he would fix the going into Committee at no distant date.
