MR. MACKINNONsaid, he would beg to ask the First Commissioner of Works whether there is any intention to accommodate the public by opening a communication between Bayswater and South Kensington; and if so, in what manner?
§ LORD JOHN MANNERSsaid, he believed that in 1855 plans were prepared for such a communication, the estimate for which was £60,000. The subject had not come under his consideration since the change of Government, and he was not prepared to ask Parliament for so large a sum during the present Session.
