§ MR. MACARTNEYasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether there would be any objection to lay on the table the Report of the Civil Service Commission on Monday next, prior to the Appendix being printed?
THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUERsaid that the Report of the Commissioners had been presented, but the Appendix had not yet been received. He was given to understand that it would be ready in the course of the next week, and as it would be more conducive to the proper investigation of the subject to have the two together, the Report would be delayed until the Appendix could be presented with it.
