§ MR. ADDERLEYsaid, he wished to ask the First Lord of the Admiralty whether the Admiralty have approved of a fan and ventilating machine for ships, invented by C. H. Bracebridge, Esq., called a "Blower;" whether any ships have been fitted with them; and whether its success has led to any general order for their use?
§ SIR CHARLES WOODwas understood to say that three or four "Blowers" very much of the description alluded to by the hon. Member, had been bought by the Admiralty to be used, and as far as they had been tried, had proved satisfactory.
