§ MR. BAGWELLcomplained that there had been no time to send this Bill to Ireland for consideration.
§ MR. G. A. HAMILTONsaid, the Bill had been introduced at the request of many hon. Members from Ireland. He thought, therefore, the House ought to affirm the principle of the Bill, after which it would be competent for hon. Members to consider whether the measure should be proceeded with this Session.
§ MR. MACARTNEYremarked, that he thought the Bill would prove a very useful one.
