§ MR. J. C. EWARTsaid, he wished to inquire of the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether it is the intention of the Government to establish Asylums to be exclusively devoted to the confinement of criminal lunatics.
§ SIR GEORGE GREYsaid, that the Government had such an intention, and negotiations were in progress for the purchase of the necessary sites.
